Most of us don’t know how God helps our lives as we go on with our day-to-day and navigate through the challenges of the day.

Out of Darkness Into Light by Lauralee Lindholm, which I authored, showcases how God helped us throughout our stay in Ethiopia. With my book, I hope we can all realize that we must sometimes stand back and consider the big picture to recognize God’s influence. We must also learn the important lessons from the Bible about light and darkness as we aim to understand God’s helping hand.

Join us, and together, let’s think back on our lives and the various roads it has taken us. Let us attempt to recognize God’s presence throughout it all.

God Works Via Other People to Deliver God’s Blessings

We occasionally fail to give God enough credit for using individuals in our lives to carry out His purposes. He frequently directs, supports, and encourages us through our friends and family. We are unaware that God was using others as an instrument to reach you.

Have you ever had a friend or relative offer to assist you financially when you truly needed it? Did someone take good care of you whenever you required it? Maybe your classmate or schoolmate provided you with clothing or food when you needed it.

These instances display the moments God used other people to help you. Moreover, even when we are too inebriated to make wise decisions for ourselves, God uses other people as voices of rationality for us.

You may be certain that God was involved in the talk and that He is at work in your life via those who have urged you to become clean, receive treatment, or change your ways. Pay attention to those individuals, and seek expert assistance if necessary. Learning about my unique journey of faith and transformation in Ethiopia could provide further examples of teamwork, family, and helping others.

God Works Via the Church and Offers Divine Intervention

Though we may never fully comprehend God’s thoughts, His word can teach much about Him. God works in your life through His word and those who spread it. In addition to giving you access to and assistance in understanding God’s word, the Church is available to offer you sound counsel and direction.

Sharing the good news was my number one motivator for going to Ethiopia and writing Out of Darkness Into Light by Lauralee Lindholm. If you’re a regular churchgoer, pay attention to the sound counsel that spiritual leaders and other Christians offer you. They are God’s voice communicating with you.

God said he would help us in our everyday lives, as mentioned in Matthew 6:31-32. If we want to continue to realize how God helps our lives and if we’re going to keep seeing God mold us into the best versions of ourselves, we must continue going to Church. By going to Church, we hear sermons of the nine ways that God promises to provide for us, which is very assuring.

God Is by Our Side During Challenging Times

Although anyone enjoys difficulties, God may operate in our lives through even the most trying circumstances. A beautiful illustration of this can be found in the poem “Footprints in the Sand.”

In the narrative, a guy is strolling on the beach alongside the Lord when flashbacks of both happy and sad moments in his life pass by. Upon reaching the end of his life, the guy noticed footprints in the sand parallel to the course he had traveled.

When he looked around, he noticed that there were always two distinct sets of footprints: his and God’s. However, he also observed that there had been only one pair of footprints during the most difficult and gloomy periods of his life.

The man was distressed and questioned God about why He had abandoned him at his lowest point. God responded, “My son, I love you, and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
